SGM8197 系列用于高側電流檢測應用，帶有集成的放大器輸出和帶 0.6V 基準的開漏比較器。該器件可以在 -24V 至 105V 的共模電壓下檢測電流檢測電阻兩端的電壓。SGM8197 系列有四種不同的增益：10V/V、20V/V、50V/V 和 100V/V，SGM8197A1 (20V/V) 的帶寬達到 1200kHz。
集成開漏比較器和 0.6V 電壓基準。0.6V 基準連接到比較器的反相輸入，電流跳變點可以通過 CMPIN 引腳上的外部電壓設置。比較器輸出可以是透傳的或鎖存的，取決于 RESET 引腳是被拉高還是懸空（或接地）。
SGM8197系列的工作電源電壓為2.7V至28V，典型電源電流為650μA。
